Illness Meals
When individuals are discharged from the hospital, or are ill and unable to cook meals, the Social Ministry Committee asks the family if they want a meal brought to their home. It is our hope this will help in taking some of the burden off the caretakers and easing the transition from hospital to home.
We attempt to locate members who live nearby to help in preparing and delivering meals to these people's homes. If individuals prefer to share a meal, that is done as well.
We encourage members to sign up on Time and Talent sheets or call the committee member in charge if they are interested in helping with this ministry.
